The Cluster's aim is to create competitive strategies that address the needs of an ever changing global tourism market. Therefore, needs to improve the image of the destination and diversify its product offerings.

What do we need to do as the Tourism Cluster for La Romana?
The quality of the destination is determined by its good image. We must welcome our visitors, the signage of pathways and areas of interest, promotion of the destination at national and international levels, and the care we give of the conservation of natural resources, all translate to creating a viable tourist destination. 

Other key aspects are the creation of security mechanisms such as: police, community, transport, lighting of access roads, etc. Cooperation, support and coordination of efforts between the public sector represented by SECTUR and SEMARENA, as well as the private sectors represented by the La Romana - Bayahibe Hotel Association and all companies that are part of La Romana - Bayahibe Tourism Cluster.

In short we are talking about, the coordination of various organizations, which are of different economic natures ( Craft Association, Yacht Club, Casa de la Cultura, the local community, etc.)
