The La Romana - Bayahibe Tourism Cluster provides guidance, direction, and support in order to increase the competitiveness of the destination, improve the quality of life of local inhabitants, preserve local culture, the environment, and to promote economic development.

CTRB aims to represent all stakeholders in the tourism sector and to support members through collaborative marketing initiatives, in addition to developing materials to promote La Romana as an ideal destination for domestic and international markets.

The CTRB offers a platform for dialogue and action where stakeholders can agree on common agendas and take action based on the combined interests and needs of the sector.

CTRB is a valuable resource for all tourism organizations and companies whose interest is the sustainable development of the destination, offering the following list of immediate benefits for members:

  • National and international networking opportunities.
  •  Technical support for the development of sustainable tourism programs,
  • Access to Tourist Information Centers located at strategic points of destination,
  • Opportunities to promote, both individual and collectively, in the Tourist Information Centers, the destination’s website www.explorelaromana.com , and through international partners, in addition to other available promotional mechanisms
  • Linkages with national and international organizations with access to media, travel agencies, etc
  • Inclusion in organized press trips and familiarization trips with, media and travel organizations, which are exploring the destination for commercial and marketing purposes,
  • Regularly distributed InfoCluster newsletter for all members containing tips, best practices, actions, and member news in order to keep stakeholders abreast of issues of interest in the destination,
  • Discounted rates for social activities hosted by the CTRB with guest lecturers who will share knowledge on topics of interest to the destination,
  • Discounted rates for training courses,
  • Twenty percent discount on ads in Bayahibe News,
  • Discount on Adventure Travel Media Source (ATMS). ATMS provides public relations services areas. For more information about the offered services visit: www.atms.com 
  •  Discount membership Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) offers 20% discount on your membership program for members of the cluster. ATTA is an organization focused on promoting adventure tourism worldwide,
  • Discounts on online tourism courses, available from the teaching faculty of George Washington University


A member of La Romana - Bayahibe Tourism Cluster:
  • Has the right to display the Membership Certificate, which identifies them as such in their business receptions or lobby
  • Has the right to use La Romana - Bayahibe Tourism Cluster logo that identifies them as a member of our institution and a company dedicated to the future of the destination
  • The right to distribute promotional material in the Tourist Information Center (TICs), which offers the opportunity to access the tourism market when travelers come to La Romana.
